11 days now and lovin' it! Love the little things in our everyday life that I would have otherwise missed. Those moments are the ones that make up our life.
Monday, Janaury 5th
Check these out...Mr. UPS delivered them to my front door this morning. I have always wanted a set of Fiestaware...and my dear, sweet hubby gave me "permissin" to purchase them. Thanks Baby!
Tuesday, January 6th
Took me another whole day to get them out of the boxes, wash them, and stack them oh so pretty in my cabinets. So pretty I didn't want to use them. Just let them be eye candy in my kitchen...hee hee! They are just FUN colors and they make very HAPPY!
Wednesday Janaury 7th
I spent the entire day playing in Photoshop...creating my new Blog Header. This is something I have been wanting to do, but I was a tad hesitant. Why? It involved digitial scrappin'. A world I had not yet ventured into. I have to admit...I am hooked! So fun, so easy! Be ready to see several new headers throughout the year, especially on holidays!
Thursday, Janaury 8th
Hailey came home from school yesterday with her tooth in a baggie. She said "it just fell out. I wasn't doing anything except walking down the hallway". Too funny! So she received a visit from Miss Tooth Fairy. Here is what she left...
Friday Janaury 9th
Tonight was the first official meeting of "The Cupcake Book Club" at my home. So excited! Amy & I have been discussing this idea of starting one for quite some time. We decided to just do it...and what an amazing time we had! We had 8 wonderful ladies there. There were several that could not make it, but hopefully next month. It was a awesome night full of fellowship, laughs, and delicious chocolate-chocolate cupcakes (thanks Amy)! We chose a Karen Kingsbury book titled Waiting for Morning. I am so looking forward to next month already!
Saturday, January 10th
It was Ashlyn's day...full of a birthday party, rollerskating (for the first time), and her first "friend" sleepover. She really had a GREAT time! Came home very tired. Here is Karrah and her at the rollerskating rink!
Sunday, January 11th
Family day...our favorite time of the week. So precious to us! Andy has decided to do something very special with the girls each week...Daddy/Daughter Day! Today, they took advantage of the beautiful weather and headed to the neighborhood park. Here they are walking...love this! A moment to cherish for sure!
Headed to the living room for some couch time with hubby! Curling up to watch Brothers & Sisters! Night all!
Love your week in review!! Great ideas for pictures Erin. I am so jealous of your fiestaware. I too have always wanted a complete set of it but never thought it really went with my kitchen when I decided on my dishes. Now I wish I would have just went with them. They look awesome all clustered together!
LOVE LOVE LOVE that picture of you and Amy! That is seriously one of my favorites of you two (when compared to maybe the other one or two of you together....you need to take more sister!!)
Love the picture of Andy and the girls. What a sweet picture of them. And that idea of Daddy/Daughter time is wonderful! Joey and Kensington do that often and they both love it! : )
